The origins of the present club date back to the autumn of 1997 when a number of people living locally who had an interest in playing rugby got together and decided and to form a rugby team in West Kerry. It is, we believe, the most westerly Rugby Club in Europe and the only Gaeltacht Rugby Club in Ireland.

Abbeyfeale's strong defense too much for young Corca Dhuibhne side

Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne's senior team travelled to Abbeyfeale on Sunday knowing that defeat would ruin any chances of promotion.
